This is not “I told you so.” It is a reminder that the warnings were there, for free, the whole time. 7 June: crash or rotation? 15 September: the index looked fine, but a hidden correction was running underneath. 18 October: 8 out of 10 stocks were already in a bear market. 19 October: I said wait. My exposure was down to around 30%. 22 October: memory stocks peaked in June and were still looking for a floor. 24 October: a bounce is not a reversal. 25 October: the average stock was in its own correction. Every one of these posts said the same thing: protect your capital first. The S&P 500 did not tell you. The average stock did. I am a trader. I do not predict.
