its not broke or rich. its mind set. what you should be saying is " victim mentality will have you believe a certain person of a certain status has soemthing you dont have. you make excuses for them " oh their parents are rich " oh they have a better education" " oh they didnt have to pay student loans" its a backwords excuse as to why you cant be them. however some " broke people" have said " i can have that too!" those particular individuals do not allow their status in lofe dictate where they are going to go. that is breaking the cycle.
