I've seen him years ago. I was in Paris for my European vacation. my friends and got there a day ahead of flight back home. we were kicked out for sleeping in the terminal. I thought why does that guy get to sleep there and we get kicked out.

The man was Mehran Karimi Nasseri (مهران کریمی ناصری), an Iranian refugee who lived at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris for approximately 18 years, from 1988 to 2006.His extraordinary story partly inspired the 2004 movie The Terminal, starring Tom Hanks which they paid him $0. He was also known as Sir Alfred Mehran. He died on November 12, 2022, after returning to the same airport.
