There's so many accounts of people that knew her who knew she was a shy, bookish girl. I think her intelligence is something that crippled her because she knew what greatness was and she knew what she could do but not being taken seriously and being smart enough to see herself dismissed really destroyed her. That being said she might have dismissed her own work at times but she was brilliant and she shines with her absolute impeccable comedic timing and then there's the misfits. She's brilliant but god to work with that script written by your husband at the dissolution of your love...
