Yeah, it's definitely tough out there. Rent is so high, especially in California, where 49% of the unsheltered live. Common sense solution: Build more houses, and crush these predatory tenants. 3000 for rent in San Francisco is unacceptable. My eyes almost popped out of my head when I read that, recently.

And yet Elon Musk and Arnold Schwarzenegger came over to this country and did just fine. Maybe it's not the country maybe it's the individual needing to step up, decide on a up plan, (plenty of $ ideas on TikTok) move to where the money is (bigger city usually) and apply everything they've got, non- stop until they are financially successful and THEN spend LOTS of time with friends and family. Balance can be all work then all play, it's just a different kind of balance. Or, keep doing what you're doing.
