Hamza Doggi :
Watching the first episode of Dare Daya reminded me that we really need to change how we define success when raising our children.
We have made financial success such a big deal that some people struggle to see anything good in a person who isn't wealthy. But success goes beyond money, expensive cars, big houses and material possessions.
Look at Hamza. Yes, he is poor, but he has beautiful children, a supportive wife and a good heart. He respects, loves and honours his mother. Are these not blessings too? Must his financial situation make all these things schefabdul
insignificant?
Is it a crime to be poor?
By all means, teach your children to work hard, pursue financial independence and aspire for a comfortable life. But also teach them to value good character, love, family, kindness, integrity and meaningful relationships.
Don't raise children who measure people's worth by the size of their bank accounts. Teach them that money is important, but it isn't everything.
