@andrewgeecalare: ⚠️ SCARS OF DESTRUCTION ACROSS OUR REGION ⚠️ You’ve really got to see it to believe it. I’m out near Stubbo, north of Gulgong, following the trail of destruction where ACEREZ, EnergyCo and the NSW Government obliterated the Wiradjuri rock shelter. The sheer scale of the environmental devastation is just mind-blowing. ❌ From knocking over a million trees to destroying native animal habitats, baby birds, and sacred Indigenous sites, the destruction happening out here is immense. 👀 For most city people, it’s out of sight and out of mind, but for the locals they are living with the shocking results of this devastation every single day. 🔦It's time to shine a light on what's really happening to our regional communities and environment. #ACEREZ #EnergyCo #NSWGov #Wiradjuri #RegionalNSW

I used to do a weekly delivery run through the Central West, covering Mudgee, Gulgong and Dunedoo, and I genuinely miss it. Beautiful little country towns, those old-fashioned mum-and-dad shops you hardly see anymore, and some of the loveliest people you could meet. There’s just something about country NSW that you don’t find in the bigger towns and cities. Absolutely loved that run.
