@pat.mark.hoffman0: "Louis Capron, A Ceramic Odyssey." Dynasties of artists are rare. Ceramics, a multi-millennium art, has seen the succession of many artistic affiliations and transmissions over the centuries. But in contemporary times, Capron, ceramicists over three generations, are an exception. The most remarkable thing is that each of them developed their own creation independently from the others. Thus, the four of them testify to the evolution of workshop ceramics, which has become an art entirely in which knowing-how is no longer an objective of excellence, but a means of a personal language.
