We use the tooth fairy! She takes the candy every year to save their teeth! I even help them build traps to try and catch her.

My son was diagnosed with diabetes at age 7. He loved trick or treating. we would keep a few of his favorite candies for when his sugar woulddrop low. we would donate the rest to his school or our church. We would also let him pick out a toy.

Never heard of it but so great given his food allergies. The fruit snacks I got for my class were dyed with food! I had a kid last year that avoided colors too. His mom brought in treats for him.
