I say if they want trunk or treat it should be a school thing like the costume parade and should be a week before Halloween and let kids go trick or treating i took my 4 yr old and saw maybe 5 groups

That, and people leaving a bucket with a sign that says “get a candy,” with no one there. It ruins the purpose of the kids having fun or even just saying “trick or treat.”

Halloween is dying just like everything else. Used to see dozens and dozens of kiddos and people outside going trick or treating and basically every house with a light on. Now it’s very little and it is sad. Still got a lot candy tonight tho

Only two houses on our road was handing out candy 🥲 My sons were so excited too, my youngests first time actually trick or treating. We kept walking until we hit the local library where there was trunk or treat…. Everyone was lined up there but not a single house with their light on or decorations. Halloween is dying 😭
