@rebecawesterband: It’s been awhile since I sat down to paint. Decided this past week to just sit and create something small. I have had a little desire in me to create something with a ghost since getting the sibling tattoo last year alongside my brother and sister. A whimsical ghost came to mind with a yellow butterfly at its side. The piece was inspired by my encounters with yellow butterflies while seated outside, especially on days a little support is wished upon. The fluid fabric is always a reminder to stay in a state of flow and openness 🙏 Ever since my mom passed a decade ago, yellow butterflies have always been a reminder of her.
