@nikkie_961: 🕊️At what point do we start holding parents ❤️accountable for the values they teach, or fail to teach, their children? A 15-year-old Ghanaian boy, Javits Frimpong, had his whole life ahead of him. He had dreams, ambitions and a future he deserved to experience. His story has brought renewed attention to bullying and concerns about racial discrimination in American schools. And it raises a difficult question: What are we teaching the next generation about people who look different from them? Parenting goes beyond providing food, shelter and education. It also means teaching children empathy, respect, tolerance and the consequences of their actions. When children grow up believing that humiliating, intimidating or discriminating against others is acceptable, we have to question the values being instilled in them. Schools must take bullying seriously. Parents must take responsibility for the values they instil. Authorities must investigate concerns thoroughly and ensure accountability. Javits deserved to feel safe. He deserved to go to school without fear. He deserved the opportunity to grow up. His family deserves answers. The price of hatred should never be another child's future. JUSTICE FOR JAVITS FRIMPONG.#stopracism #javits🕊️❤️
