i was told by so many houses "your to old for trick or treating" and I'm under 18 and just wanted to cry. so many didn't give me any candy and i was with my younger siblings... the difference is crazy. I'm still a kid who wants candy.... halloween style not store bought...

I went tonight at 24 years old for the first time in years. I was prepared to just walk around and see cool costumes but people in their houses begged us to come see them. we went home with a whole bag of candy from people who were just happy to see ANYONE keeping the spirit alive.

Guys where do u live that Halloween lost it's whimsy I ran around like over 60 houses and all of them had candy abd one had a haunted house 😭 we're all 16-18 and they were excited to see we were out getting candy instead of getting drunk 🥹💔

My friend and I were on our way to the Halloween parade when we passed by a house with kids shouting, Happy Halloween! They offered us some candy and we hesitated at first, saying we were probably too old to go trick or treating and we didn’t have any costumes. But one of the kids told us, “You’re never too old to go trick or treating” It was honestly one of the best and sweetest Halloween I’ve had in my life 🥹

I think everyone should trick or treat, even adults. You really don't need to go for the candy but just to get to know neighbors and have pleasant conversations ☺️Maybe grill out hot dogs for adults and candy for kids. Next year, I'm hosting a block party 🎉

I only had one, and he looked older. Old enough that it’s probably his last Halloween. I was like hold on a second, went to my fridge and got him a pop, full sized candy bars from my own candy stash, and a bottle of water for the walk.
