The absence of defensive ferocity doesn’t mean the players didn’t put in the required effort. I saw my team’s players exhausted and physically drained. They ran a lot after the ball, tried to close down spaces, and put in a huge effort even though we made mistakes in some situations. But they tried. They weren’t lacking in desire, nor in the intent to compete. Yes, we made mistakes, and that’s true. But defensive ferocity is something different. Ferocity is that crucial final step that allows you to unsettle the opponent, making them feel uncomfortable on the pitch. We need to find a way that helps us completely break free from the string of results we're going through in the recent rounds. Because if we look at our results, we'll find that we haven't lost more than two games in a row. We lost two games, then drew, and after that lost two more, then drew again. These are strings of results that a team like ours shouldn't allow to continue, but they're things that can happen in football. And that's why we have to be fully aware of what happened.
