@lifeinsouthla504: I’ve been living in the Metairie area for about a decade, and I honestly have never seen flooding like this here. Driving around the 70002 area near W. Esplanade Ave, the water was extremely high, with the canal overflowing into the streets. Several vehicles appeared stranded in the high water. This is just a short 3-minute drive showing what I saw firsthand. Please be careful out there. If the water looks too deep, don’t risk driving through it. Turn around and find another route.
