Lewat pesannya, Aa Juju meminta Awkarin ikut membantu menyebarkan informasi mengenai kondisi karhutla di Kalimantan. Alih-alih mendapat dukungan, Aa Juju justru menuai hujatan dari warganet. Pasalnya, Awkarin selama ini dikenal sebagai salah satu influencer yang kerap bersuara soal berbagai persoalan di Indonesia. Bahkan, pada 2019 lalu, ia pernah terjun langsung ke Kalimantan untuk menyambangi warga yang menjadi korban kabut asap akibat karhutla.
