Don’t worry, as someone who used to work in pediatric surgery. Just know, us staff members took the time to make every holiday special for all the kids in the hospital. We would all dress up for Halloween and do a reverse trick or treat for them and hand out stuff to all the kids in house. And same thing for Christmas. We would put together goodie bags and go hand them out as well. But thank you for thinking of them.

I remember when my 7-year-old son was doing his chemo during Halloween week, many random strangers, churches, and organizations dropped off candy buckets, baggies, or pouches; it was the most beautiful thing to see how thoughtful people could be... I just know those babies smiled when they got your buckets! Thank you so much for doing this; may you get blessed tenfold!🩵

see i would do this but you never what kids are allergic to nuts or fruits or even if they’re diabetic. and i wouldn’t help but think of those kids who would get the chocolates and the others who simply can’t have them because they are allergic to things and feel upset that they can’t get a treat because of a allergy. I would make separate portions for those who have allergies to different foods, I’d ask the nurses or doctors which kids are allergic to some foods/ingredients then have a list of those who can have chocolates, and those who can’t so I can buy those who would enjoy having a treat that they can have. ☹️
