@vivandsook: STRATEGIC RESTRAINT FOR THE WIN. Why are governments around the world encouraging households to prepare for disruptions to food, water and essential services? And what does the astrology suggest about the weeks ahead? As October came to a close, the Sun in Scorpio squared Pluto in Aquarius, bringing themes of institutional power, essential resources and public trust into focus. Venus retrograde's recent square to Pluto raises questions about material security, scarcity and our dependence on systems beyond our control. Mercury retrograde in Scorpio adds another dimension, challenging Mars in Leo before approaching a square to Pluto in November. Information, authority, competing narratives and the consequences of decisions made under pressure. But here's the question: Can we prepare for scarcity without becoming greedy? Can we recognise cruelty without becoming cruel? Can we question authority without surrendering our capacity to trust? The coming weeks invite us to distinguish legitimate concern from suspicion, preparation from panic, and conviction from stubbornness. Because sometimes our response to a perceived threat becomes more destructive than the threat itself. Experience teaches us what people are capable of. Wisdom teaches us what to do with that knowledge. Strategic restraint isn't about doing nothing. It's about refusing to sacrifice tomorrow's possibilities to satisfy today's fears. Strategic restraint for the win. #MercuryRetrograde #VenusRetrograde #ScorpioSeason #PlutoInAquarius #NovemberAstrology
