We walked through a big ass neighborhood and got like 4 pieces of candy… no one gives out candy like they used too. It’s heart breaking..

Our town does trick or treat from 5-7pm. We ran out of candy by 6:30. I’d venture to say we had at least 500 kids!

its always had a bed time here in ohio, for 1 trick or treat is never on Halloween unless it happens to fall on the day they set for what we call beggers night. and they set the date every 5 years currently set as last Thursday of the month. and then they can only trick or treat from 6pm to 8pm so only 2 hours.

Kids go to like 4 trick or treating events before Halloween. they have so many parties, festivals, carnivals, etc. for Halloween. Growing up we just had Halloween. It was such a big night because we only had one night. Now it’s literally spread all over four weeks.

Why do houses turn their porch lights off @ like 7:30pm?? We were out and a lot of houses closed shop pretty fast. I mean it didn’t get dark until 6:00pm here 😩

Considering it gets dark at 6:00, 9:00 is late for trick or treaters. Plus, not many go out anymore because of all the crazy people out there these days!

Trick or treating ended around 8 pm in my Michigan neighborhood in the 90s. We were done handing out candy at about the same time last night.

I personally love trunk or treat. It’s fun for the kids and the parents actually get to socialize as well.

Our towns suggested trick or treat hours are 5-7. There were SO MANY people out tonight, I loved it!!!

our neighborhood goes dead by 9pm. 7-8 little kids . 8- 9 older kids.

this year we took the kids to every trunk or treat we could find all month long and then rounded it out by sending the kids around 3 different town neighborhoods with their dad and uncle while I stayed home and had a free hot cocoa stand instead of free candy and it was a massive hit! was able to hand out 100 of 100 and will be repeating next year but I definitely want to build on the idea
