I went around my neighborhood to go trick-or-treating with my son which it is his first Halloween and nobody was giving candy. I start crying cause I feel like he didn’t get to experience Halloween. This is him. he was a dinosaur.

TRUNK OR TREATS killed halloween... they all went during the day, to a parkinglot and scored a giant bag.... why walk blocks in the dark for hours for half as much....

Hot take: social media has made it easier for families to see where the “hot” streets are and the most decorated. I used to take my kids to the funner part of my neighborhood too. Who wants to hike for hours to hit 1 in 3 houses that maybe have a light on.

Went with my 6 year old and 80% of the houses had lights off or didn’t answer the door on the street we went on (Edmonton) when I was a kid everyone was handing stuff out and we went from 5pm-9pm was out maybe a hour
