What I bought: A nude-colored T-shirt, two nude felt squares, and a clear plastic headband—$13 total! 2. What I already had: A hot glue gun, scissors, and a water- or air-soluble fabric pen, nude shorts. 3. Make the robe: Cut off the neckline and sleeves, then cut through each shoulder seam to create straps. Trim the ends into narrower tips and tie them together at each shoulder. 4. Give it that Dobby look: Rub the shirt with coffee grounds and water, scrunching it for a worn look. While it’s wet, stretch out the shirt and neckline. Dunk it in water and hang it to dry. 5. Make the ears: Sketch an ear template on paper using an online reference. Fold the felt lengthwise and trace your template so you get matching ears when you cut it out. Separate the ears, fold the top edge of each over, and secure with hot glue.
