No, *Passion Java was NOT banned from the US.* What happened was: In *March 2022*, Zimbabwean activist Godfrey Kurauone started a petition on http://Change.org to *deport him* from the US. The petition said: > "Panganai Passion Java enjoys permanent resident status in the USA while he goes back to Zimbabwe to actively support a regime that is killing citizens... He uses state resources to buy votes for Mnangagwa." It got *over 11,000 signatures*. Even Wicknell Chivayo reportedly signed it at first. Passion Java responded through his spokesperson Boss Lashan: > "The US will never deport a millionaire because random people signed a petition." Nothing happened — he is still a *US green card holder*, living between Maryland, USA and Zimbabwe. He still travels freely. He even posted from the US after that petition, laughing about it. So there was a big push to get him deported/sanctioned, but the US government never acted on it.
