Natalie Nakase was an assistant coach for the Las Vegas Aces, leaves to be head coach of an expansion team who goes on to sweep the 3x champion Aces before ultimately winning the whole thing. Throw in the point where she full on collapsed mid game, went right back into the huddle and won the game. I’m sad for ATL but coach needs a documentary for real

You have to give it to Natalie Nakase in assembling a team of ballers who needed their second chance. That whole team was built on players who had all the potential but they sat on the bench with their previous teams. None of them have ego - none of them are trying to be the star… just all coming in & being coachable & playing the role they need on that night. It’s actually really impressive.

Natalie learned to not overwork her players and that a good bench is needed. I think a lot of teams are missing the basics....don't have your starters overworked from regular season so they don't get injured and have a bench that can PLAY.

Ngl I think the Valkyries success this year is going to change how these teams are constructed next year. I guarantee we are going to see other teams fight to get stronger bench players especially as the W extends to 50 games. That’ll be more evidence of Natalie’s influence

Being a women's basketball super fan is really so rewarding because there's only one team in the entire league that I'd ever be upset to see get a chip. I wanted to see AR5 get hers SO bad, but how can you be mad to see gabby Williams finally finish 1st?
