@cerca87: If achieving your biggest dream meant missing the final years of your parents' lives, would you still pursue it? It's a profound question that brings forth a complex emotional and ethical dilemma. What are your thoughts? 🤔 #LifeChoices #DreamsVsFamily #ToughDecisions #WhatWouldYouDo
You only have one mom and one dad. Some people are not close to their parents. Some of us can imagine a world without them. I would not be the person I am now without them. I would not have the education that I have without them. Even though they’re my accomplishments. My actions, my intellect. It does not diminish the part they took in establishing and making sure that I gained what I needed. I do not owe them a debt. But what I do owe them is respect. Respecting knowing that without them, I would not be the person that I am now. So no. I cannot even fathom abandoning them. Life is a series of moments and moments are fleeting. Cherish every moment with every person that’s in your life. You never know And the last time you will speak with them, whomever they are. Call your mom. call your dad, call your grandparents. call your best friend, call your boyfriend, call your girlfriend, and tell them. How much they mean to you. Because in five seconds everything can change. Love deeply, care with open arms, and be kind.

I’m sure that’s what both my parents would want.

no I wouldn't. honestly my biggest dream is to have the same life I had growing up. I wanty grandkids to experience it too. but like I said it's a dream. will never happen. I want to have a cattle farm like I grew up on. raising cattle and breaking horses. friends see me watching stuff like yellow stone and can't understand why just watching it I feel peace and I relax. it's something that only a person who grew up that way and not there can only understand. I would rather struggle the rest of my life have broken bones and die penny less living that life. then be working a job in a city or town. it's in my blood it's a part of my soul. it's killing me living in a city working a factory job.. barely surviving. I miss the peace of working cattle building fence doing hay.

It would not hit the same...if they are not involved in the satisfaction of my biggest dream. To reach a level of success that they prayed for

Time is an unapologetic bitch. When you’re younger you think you and the people around you have all the time in the world, so you might pick to achieve your dream. As you get older your priorities change. You watch your parents get older and smaller and you realize that you don’t have all the time in the world with them. You actually realize that time is quickly charging at you with no intention of stopping. As someone realizing that they are approaching that time limit with their parents, all I can say is speak to them and see them often while you still can.
