"IF GOD ALREADY KNOWS EVERYTHING, WHY SHOULD WE STILL PRAY? If God already knows all our needs, why should we still pray? I used to struggle with this question for a long time. There was even a season when, while praying, a thought would come into my mind: “Whether I say it or not, it probably makes no difference anyway.” But later, I read a few Bible verses, and suddenly my heart became clear. So I put together five key reasons to explain why we still need to pray. First, God delights in our prayers. Proverbs 15:8 says: “The prayer of the upright is His delight.” Our prayers bring joy to God. It’s like a child coming home from school and telling his father about the day. The father may already know what happened, but he still wants to hear it from the child personally. Because what he cares about is not just the “event” — he cares about the child himself. Your sharing becomes a precious connection. Second, prayer is how we hand over our burdens. 1 Peter 5:7 says: “Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.” Notice the words “all your care.” You do not need to wait until you feel better or figure everything out before coming to Him. In fact, when you feel hurt, exhausted, or ready to cry, that is when you should come even more. Often, the first result of prayer is not that everything suddenly gets better, but that you are no longer carrying the burden alone. You have placed it into God’s hands. Third, continual prayer is God’s will for us. The Bible says: “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks.” Prayer is not an emergency plan only for difficult moments. It should become part of our daily life. The longer you go without praying, the easier it becomes for anxiety to pull your heart away. But the more you pray, the more peace fills your heart, and the more your focus returns to God. Fourth, God truly listens to our prayers. 1 John 5:14–15 says: “If we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us.” Many people stop praying not because they no longer need God, but because deep down they think maybe He is not listening. But the Bible does not leave us with uncertainty — it gives us assurance. You do not need beautiful words. You only need a sincere heart before Him. Even a simple prayer like: “Lord, I don’t know what to do. Please guide me,” is enough. Fifth, God responds to prayer. Luke 11:9 says: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” His answers may not always come according to your timetable. Sometimes, after you pray, a way opens quickly. Sometimes, He first gives you strength to endure the hard season. And sometimes, He does not give what you originally asked for, but instead leads you to a safer and better path. Do not lose heart. No prayer is ever wasted. God will answer in the best way and at the right time. If this message encouraged you, leave an ""Amen"" in the comments. And don’t forget to like, save, and share this with someone you care about, so more people can return to God again. Thank you for watching." #fyp #jesus #prayer #grace #amen🙏
