first off I want to say sorry I wish you had trick or treaters. 2nd for the people blaming trunk or treat no that is not the reason because I take my kids to both trunk or treat and trick or treat. 3rd the reason why you don’t have trick or treaters is because of your neighborhood as parents we like to look for neighborhoods with lights on and decorations and a lot of trick or treaters activities. We skip the dark streets. I do have a suggestion if you do want to experience this if you have any friends or family that have a street that do have lot of decorations or has a reputation of having a lot of trick or treaters next year ask if it ok to pass out candy at there house and make it a fun time by maybe drinking or watching scary movies having a good convos while waiting for trick or treaters. Another option might be rent an Airbnb in popular Halloween streets and maybe make like a small house party with friends and family and pass out candy to trick or treaters my finally suggestion is maybe just join trunk or treat events. But yeah so sorry about your Halloween but yeah it not you it the neighboorhood activity.

They do trunk or treats now my school did it for our kiddos unfortunately I couldn’t come I had to work, but yeah it sucks kids don’t do neighborhood trick or treats anymore. :(

Guys I took my 3yo trick or treating this was the first year he was able to pick his costume and we found out from a neighbor that they were doing it on the 30th not the 31st but she gave him a couple pieces of candy still and we went home 🥲 I was trying so hard not to cry I had no clue what to tell him bc what he was so excited now I feel so terrible

Ik as a kid there was no kids outside like few houses had candy there was few people outside
