Mientras el año anterior, el presupuesto destinado fue de mil millones de pesos, en esta oportunidad se ha propuesto un monto de 425 millones de pesos, lo cual el sería insuficiente, según el concejal. “Yo quedo preocupado y lo he venido advirtiendo. Es el último carnaval de esta administración, pero 425 millones no son suficientes. Estas fiestas se han venido desfinanciando antes de fortalecerse. Sueño algún día ver un rubro importante para la cultura de Popayán”, expresó el concejal en medio de una sesión en la que la alcaldía, socializó la proyección que se tiene para del presupuesto del año 2027.
