@islamicmehr: Proper prayer means performing the five daily prayers on time, in a state of purity, facing the qiblah, with the intention and humility (khushu’). It begins with the opening takbir, reciting al-Fatihah and another surah, then bowing and prostrating with calm composure, and sitting for the two tashahhuds (in the three- and four-rak’ah prayers) or one (in Fajr), ending with the taslim—following the Prophet’s guidance [“Pray as you have seen me pray.”] Steps of proper prayer (from the opening takbir to the taslim): Preparation: wudu, covering the ‘awrah, and facing the qiblah. Intention: forming the intention for the specific prayer in your heart without saying it out loud. Opening takbir: saying “Allahu Akbar” while raising the hands to shoulder level. Standing and recitation: reciting al-Fatihah in every rak’ah, and whatever you can from the Qur’an in the first two rak’ahs. Bowing: bending with the hands placed on the knees, and saying “Subhana Rabbiyal-‘Azim” three times, with composure. Rising from bowing: standing upright and saying “Sami‘a Allahu liman hamidah,” then “Rabbana wa laka al-hamd.” Prostration: prostrating on the seven body parts (the forehead and nose, the two palms, the two knees, and the toes), with composure, and saying “Subhana Rabbiyal-A‘la” three times. Sitting between the two prostrations: sitting and saying “Rabbighfir li.” Tashahhud: reciting the tashahhud in the second sitting (the second rak’ah) and the final sitting (the last rak’ah), and the Ibrahimic prayer in the final tashahhud. Taslim: turning to the right and saying “As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah,” then to the left likewise. The pillars of prayer (it is not valid without them): Standing when able (in obligatory prayers). The opening takbir. Reciting al-Fatihah. Bowing. Rising from bowing. Prostrating on the seven body parts. Rising from prostration. Sitting between the two prostrations. Composure (staying still in every pillar). Performing the pillars in order. The final tashahhud. Sitting for the final tashahhud. Sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him). The two taslims. Sunnahs and recommended acts in prayer: Raising the hands at bowing, rising from it, and standing up for the third. Placing the right hand over the left on the chest while standing. The opening supplication after the opening takbir. Reciting whatever you can from the Qur’an after al-Fatihah in the first two rak’ahs. Important notes: Composure (calmness, tranquility, and not rushing) is a core pillar in bowing, prostration, and standing. You must observe “order,” meaning performing the pillars in the sequence mentioned.#اللهم_صلي_على_نبينا_محمد #اعادة_نشر🔁 #quran_alkarim #quranrecitation #اللهم_صلي_على_محمد_وال_محمد
