A few years ago I set up outside, drug out ask these decorations, and even told the neighborhood Facebook group I had candy to give out. I had a pg Halloween movie going on a project screen and all...maybe got 20 kids. This year I saw a few out and about but elected to make bbq instead.

I'm in 🇨🇦 a box of candy is 20$. and they started taking it off the shelves to put out Christmas stuff as of October 16th. and I do mean removing from shelves, not sold out

I know where I live there is a large amount immigration population and Halloween isn’t part of their calendar. They don’t trust it. That’s what they have told me are neighbourhood gatherings.

I keep seeing these videos of people saying they don’t have trick or treaters. In my home town there were hoards of people out on the streets last night and there were a lot of homes passing out candy. My daughter filled her bucket twice! I did the trunk or treats with my daughter when she was really little but now that she’s school age we go out every year and it’s so fun

Had the first trick or treaters since moving in 5 years ago. I don’t buy any candy because no one ever comes. Just leave my lights off just in case and hang out at the house. That’s the universal sign to leave me alone. Only had a couple of kids come up to the house. Apparently the parents are oblivious 🙄

Had like maybe 40 kids stop by this year. In past we’ve ran out of candy and sent my little brother trick or treating in a back up costume to go get more to fill our bowl. This year we didn’t get close to needing a refill

Ive been hearing a lot of this. I spent $45 on candy. We had a couple hundred kids come on our porch and knock the traditional way. We had to shut our lights off at 7:00pm because we ran out of candy. I live in Vermont 🤷🏻♀️

My town is different for SURE yesterday there were trick or treaters everywhere, downtown is the big spot for it as everyone there is rich af and their houses are always decked out and they give out so much candy.

There were a lot less houses participating and we don't knock anymore because in the last few years people were getting mad at us for knocking when they had lights on and decorations. we go to the rich school neighborhoods and they ran out of candy before 8pm

We live in a subdivision with about 300 homes. I bought 6 bags of candy and only had enough trick or treaters to hand out 2 bags. It seems like in our area everyone is doing trunk or treats ahead of time.
