The EGOT winner spoke to PEOPLE at the Día de Muertos Gala on Oct. 27. She turns 95 on Dec. 11. “I’m going to have a dinner party with very close friends,” she said. When asked how she feels about the number, she joked, “I’m thinking, ‘Geez, I can’t believe this. Really? I’m an old lady.’ But here I am.” Her career has lasted more than 70 years. It includes Singin’ in the Rain, The King and I, the original 1961 West Side Story, and Steven Spielberg’s remake. She also reflected on being one of the last stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age. “I’m one of the few left of my particular era,” she said. “I’m thrilled to still be here, to still be standing up.” She previously told E! the dinner will be a roast. “I’m sure people will be insulting me all night,” she said. She added that people can do whatever they want, calling it a wonderful way to celebrate. It will look very different from last year.
