@asma.app: When did you last ask Allah to forgive you? The Prophet ﷺ said: “I ask Allah’s forgiveness a hundred times a day.” (Sahih Muslim 2702) Say it with me, 100 times: أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ Astaghfirullah. I ask Allah’s forgiveness. Nuh told his people: “Ask forgiveness of your Lord. He is ever Forgiving. He will send the sky upon you in abundant rain, and increase you in wealth and children, and give you gardens, and give you rivers.” (Quran 71:10–12) Hud told his people: “Ask forgiveness of your Lord, then repent to Him. He will send the sky upon you in abundant rain…” (Quran 11:52) Al-Ghaffar, the Ever-Forgiving. Save this, and ask with me again tomorrow. Narrated by Shaddad bin Aus (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 6306), the Prophet ﷺ said that whoever recites Sayyidul Istighfar during the day with firm faith in it and dies before the evening is from the people of Paradise, and whoever recites it at night with firm faith and dies before morning is from the people of Paradise
