My Go-to Content Setup 📸/🎥 Been a while since I posted about my setup…surprise, it’s still an A7 body and the 20mm G! Honestly, the A7V / A7IV + this 20mm f1.8 is still one of my favorite combinations for vertical video and general hybrid content creation. The minimum focus distance is surprisingly close and allows for huge versatility in shot-types and compositions. Further, 20mm is still my favorite focal length for interior shots: Not misleadingly wide and not too tight either. That all said, I do use some other lenses in my day-to-day work as well as content creation in general, but this lens is used far more than any others. Paired with APSC mode, I get a 30mm composition, and I use it very often in video mode on the A7IV and A7V since the 4K output is still oversampled and super sharp. Also, I should have gotten the wrinkles out of my shirt, eh?
