You might be getting stronger before you LOOK any different. Keep showing up. 🫡 There’s 15 months between these two versions of me. I didn’t have perfect weeks. I had habits I kept coming back to. Here’s what helped me lose 42 pounds since July 2025: 💪🏼 I strength trained with ONLY dumbbells at home, 3-5 days a week. On busy weeks, I aimed for three workouts instead of giving up because I couldn’t do five. 📋 I followed my structured weekly workout plan. I knew what to do when I opened the app, which made it easier to actually START. 📈 I tracked my weights. When I could finish every rep with good form and still do several more, I tried a slightly heavier dumbbell. I did NOT start with the weights you see me using now. 🚶🏼‍♀️ I walked10-12k steps most days. Short walks counted, too. It didn’t have to happen all at once. 🍽️ I ate balanced meals with protein, carbs, and fats. I paid attention to fiber and water without cutting out the foods I love. 🫶🏼 I stopped treating one missed workout or an imperfect weekend like I needed to start over. That last one changed so much. A workout can feel ordinary. A walk can feel insignificant. Adding a few pounds to your dumbbells can feel like a tiny win. But repeat those things for months, and they add up. If you’re getting started, pick three workout days this week. Put them on your calendar. Choose weights you can control. Write down what you used. Give yourself something repeatable before you expect something visible. The dumbbell-only weekly workouts I followed are inside Movement With Julie. Save this for the days you need a reminder that imperfect consistency still counts.😉 #homeworkout #workoutroutine #postpartum
