@ellyharrell: October 27, 2026, my pup came back to see me as a little ghost. Bella had severe tartar buildup. The vet kept recommending anesthetic dental cleanings. We only did it three times, and she never woke up from this last one. Just yesterday, my home camera accidentally captured what looked like Bella visiting me. At first I thought it was just a camera glitch, but after watching the footage over and over, I’m sure that was Bella’s shadow. I keep replaying every moment, wondering if I waited too long to care for her teeth. I hate myself for not realizing how dangerous dental disease truly was sooner. If I’d known how high the risks were, I would’ve tried everything to protect her. No amount of regret will bring my sweet Bella back home to me.
