The Robes of Glory The silence inside the sanctuary grows heavier with every passing season. The sheep see many things, but few dare speak about them. Those who whisper their concerns do so only behind closed doors, and even then, they lower their voices as though the walls themselves are listening. Pastor Gideon’s influence now reaches far beyond the pulpit. Through loyal agents, messages quickly travel throughout the fold before every assembly. “The shepherd needs a gown.” “The colour for this season has changed.” “The flock must honour the anointing.” And so the sheep obey. Every new season brings a new theme to the sanctuary. Banners change, decorations are replaced, songs are rewritten, and the congregation eagerly awaits Pastor Gideon’s grand appearance. But it is not only the message that changes. His robes changes too. Each season, Pastor Gideon unveils a new collection of expensive gowns, carefully designed to match the theme of the ministry. Every region of the valley contributes. Every ministry in the fold contributes. Pastor Gideon exposes new gowns in every assembly; “I have been dressed by my flock in the South West.” "This wonderful gown was donated to me by The women Association.” And the flock erupts in applause. During the Season of Victory, he wears garments embroidered with gold. During the season of Overflow, he appears in dazzling white with purple trimming. During the season of Dominion, his robes become even more magnificent, drawing admiration long before he begins preaching. And the flock applauds as he walks around them. The gowns are sometime designed bearing different words: “The Heavenly Sent.” “The Firstborn of God.” Many sheep whisper among themselves, “our shepherd truly carries the glory of heaven.” Yet Brother Joel notices something that troubles.... #The Shepherd's Shadow#
