I think she doesn't need Big Bad status (since she wasn't reaching for the crown), she's stirring up something against Big Bad (post-credits scene), she was painting planets, and Big Bad is destroying planets. So my theory is that Big Bad destroyed her planet and she's the only one who escaped, and that's why she wants to take revenge on him.

theory: this whole competition to become Big Bad's successor a trap. on the screen with the teams, it was clear that the losing villains were being destroyed/died. perhaps Big Bad wants to eliminate all the villains without interfering in this, in order to remain the only villain. he is a skeleton and skeletons are immortal, they don't age, if you follow the logic. so Big Bad is looking for a worthy villain to fight and forever cement his status as the only villain. that's why lady is wary and probably understands that they're all trapped and will die if they continue to participate in this

i have theory. we all know the big bad needs to be replaced with a new one. what if it wasn't a replacement? what if it was a trap all a long? what if it was just a body swap? if one villain wins they become the new big bad right? i don't think so in my opinion. i think their body will swap into the big bad's body while the other is in the other villain's body? (i don't think if it's confirmed though)
