@mia.sebastian68: Worked all night with no break, clocked out, bought breakfast… and somehow that was the problem 😶#nurse #nightshiftnurse #nurselife #nursetok #nursedrama
I would ABSOLUTELY take this to HR and have the “note” removed from you file. That’s really poor leadership on her part

I'd push to HR. Then I would make them pay me for my time for contacting me outside of scheduled working hours

Next time, respond that you would also be documenting that this conversation occurred for future reference.

Push that note off cause they use that as an excuse to reject offers saying “oh I don’t feel comfortable giving it to you cause you have a note on your file. Idk what it’s for but I’m not gonna read it either”

Email HR AND do not work one minute more than you are paid for EVER. Before, after or during a shift (unless emergency obviously)

They get defensive when they have to adjust for missed lunches, but it happens. yeah those 30 minutes worked I do expect to be paid for! As nurses, always have to keep an eye out for those deductions and not work for free. They add up fast!

no; HR is not there for the employee; they are there to protect administration and the company itself; dont believe me? ask yourself this; who pays HR staff?
