@evilfleil: trick or treat smell my feet give me something good to eat lately all ive been wanting to do is sleep and watch whale documentaries did you know that humpback whales will charge in in the middle of orca hunts as a result of generations of trauma in which orcas would hunt baby humpbacks due to them being easier pickings compared to their adult counterparts who, unlike other whales, are built to fight back and have 15 foot long, hard barnacle-covered flippers that hurt like hell and could easily incapacitate an orca and the mass hunting of humpback babies has biologically drilled it into the minds of all humpbacks that the sound of an orca hunt = a baby humpback is in danger (orcas are not quiet at all when they hunt theyre very social animals who hunt in pods and need to communicate with clicks, whistles, and pulses which are further amplified by the density of water compared to air, causing sound to travel 4.5 times faster meaning humpback whales with their fantastic hearing can hear an orca pod hunting from thousands of miles away) and so humpback whales, thinking a calf is in danger, go into full instinctive panic mode and charge full speed in the direction of the hunt. as stated previously, the orcas want nothing to do with them as one of the few whales that can actually fight off an orca pod so they immediately flee the scene, the humpback having wasted both the orcas' and its own precious energy. the best part is the humpback gains nothing from this scenario they are essentially pissing off the orcas out of spite and generational beef. after saving them from death they realize its not actuslly a humpback calf n they dont give two shits and swim away😭😭 i was gonna draw tdl as an orca and tco as a humpback whale but character design is too hard so i gave up
