Abdurrahman ibn Awf رضي الله عنه wasn’t just a wealthy companion. His life was a masterclass in faith, ambition, generosity, and humility. Five reasons he deserves the title of history’s greatest aura farmer: * Turned down a fortune: Refused half of Sa’d ibn ar-Rabi’s wealth and asked to be shown the marketplace instead. * Built an empire from zero: Became one of the wealthiest companions through trade. * Led the Prophet ﷺ in salah: Experienced the extraordinary honour of the Prophet ﷺ praying behind him. * Walked away from power: Declined to compete for the position of Khalifah after Umar رضي الله عنه was assassinated. * Chose leadership over ambition: Consulted the people of Madinah before recommending Uthman رضي الله عنه as the next Khalifah. The lesson? You can pursue wealth without worshipping it, hold influence without becoming arrogant, and achieve success without compromising your principles. Build the dunya with your hands, but keep your heart attached to the akhirah. #abdurrahmanibnawf #islamichistories #muslimentrepreneur #islamiclessons #muslimexcellence
