It felt so odd watching my daughters try to navigate dealing with these girls. Especially my oldest because Iris didn’t really know any better but my oldest had a clue of what was going on. When she sat down by herself and put her head and said they were being mean and they didn’t want to be friends it just broke my heart. We had an issue in VPK with this girl who was my daughters best friend, but almost every day to every other day I was signing accident reports where she was beating up my daughter 😪 I never spoke about it online as it was happening and the straw was when she pushed my daughter into a teachers chair and she hit her head. She was expelled from the school and even now a year later- my daughter still asks to have a play date with her and that she misses her. She wants so badly to see the good in people and give people chances and the benefit of the doubt….. I hope this world is kind to my girls sensitive souls and I hope I have the capacity to help guide them as they navigate this world 🙏
