@24ghanta_nepal: Sydney Metro in New South Wales, Australia, is introducing language badges for its staff, making it easier for passengers to find employees who speak their preferred language. The badges will identify 11 languages, including Nepali, Punjabi, Greek and Spanish. The system will also include Auslan, Australian Sign Language, to support passengers who are deaf or have difficulty speaking. Passengers needing help with train services, destinations or travel information will be able to identify staff who speak their language and ask for assistance directly. The initiative is designed to make public transport easier to access for Sydney’s diverse and multilingual communities by reducing language barriers during travel.
