@mkay_mic: Google has updated its privacy policy, and there is an important detail users should understand. If you choose to connect services such as Gmail or Google Photos to other Google services, information from those apps may be used to personalize your experience, including some advertising-related features. This does not mean Google automatically scans everyone's private emails and photos for ads. The connection is optional, but it is worth reviewing what permissions you have granted. Check your Google Account's privacy and personalization settings, review connected apps, and be careful about enabling features that access personal information. Your data deserves more than a quick click on an unfamiliar permission screen. #GooglePrivacy #Gmail #DataProtection #OnlineSecurity #mkay_mic @Google @GoogleWorkspace @GoogleAI @Android @EFF
