Today I visited the world-famous Prado Museum in Madrid ✨. It houses countless world-famous paintings. Standing in front of these artworks, I was utterly amazed. Every figure in the paintings looks vivid and lifelike. Their eyes seem to cross hundreds of years of time, gazing quietly at visitors like us, making everyone stop and admire them closely 👀. #Spain #Madrid @Spain @Policía Municipal de Madrid @Madrid I’d love to share several classic artworks that impressed me most. The first huge religious mural is extremely large, even wider than an entire wall ⛪. It is divided into three horizontal and three vertical sections with a solemn and full composition. A large central painting is surrounded by many smaller ones with clear layers. The core part shows the gentle and holy Virgin Mary with the Christ Child. Paintings of heaven and God are drawn on the upper part. Side panels depict people faithfully believing in Christianity, and the bottom is filled with delicate individual portraits. The second artwork is Raphael’s Cardinal in Red ❤️. No one knows the identity of the man in the painting, yet the piece holds irresistible charm. His bright scarlet robe stands out sharply against the dark background. His deep, calm eyes are full of stories, capturing every visitor’s attention and urging them to pause and appreciate the subtle emotions. My favorite masterpiece is the triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights 🌍. Made up of three connected panels, it tells a complete fable. The first panel illustrates God creating humans and all creatures. The world is pure, all living beings live in harmony, filled with peace and joy. The second panel shows humanity indulging in earthly pleasures, filled with bizarre half-human half-beast creatures. People give in to desires and turn away from God’s will. The third panel depicts the brutal scenes of hell, where those who chased worldly joys receive their just punishment. The three panels unfold step by step with profound meanings, leaving me deeply moved. Wandering around the Prado Museum today was a touching and insightful art trip. Vivid colors carry centuries-old stories, and classical paintings are filled with aesthetics and philosophies. Immersing myself in European art brought me precious thoughts and growth 🌟
