My brother put concrete highway barriers at the edge of his property because the neighbors were basically making a turnaround driveway in his yard. They got the Mayor, County Commissioners, Sheriff and Trustees involved. The barriers are still there to this day.

I know that you cant do this with a mail box that gets hit, like replacing a normal mailbox with a concrete filled one, because it's considered a trap, but these were planters. a lot of people put concrete in planters for stability. and he clearly had no problem just running over the stuff on her property. If he wins I'll be angry.

I know a woman that did this with her mailbox, because logging trucks were CONSTANTLY flying past her house and hitting her mailbox. She had to replace it so many times that it became EXTREMELY expensive and the truckers weren’t being held accountable for it. She had requested, from the county, permission to move her mailbox, from its location several times, only to be denied, each time. She was advised to concrete it into the ground, so she did. It’s been hit ONCE, since. The trucker tore up the mailbox AND his truck and the company held him responsible for ALL damages. She bought one more mailbox and hasn’t needed a new one since 😂
