BS Design :
A little tip: If you're living in Canada, make an effort to respect and participate in the culture and events around you.
If you're coming to the Halloween parade on Granville Street, understand that you're attending a costume celebration, not just coming to stand around and stare at people.
People from all backgrounds — Asians, Iranians, Europeans, Greeks, Canadians, and many others — made an effort to dress up, participate, and contribute to the atmosphere.
What I found disappointing was seeing groups of people, particularly some men, showing up with absolutely no effort to participate, just standing around staring at people in a way that made others uncomfortable.
Nobody expects an expensive costume. Even 1% effort would be enough.
It's about basic respect, social awareness, and understanding the event you're attending. You're not watching a show at home. You're joining a public celebration. Act like you're part of it.
