@edward.wonder: Have you seen what has happened to the Elele–Omoku Road in Rivers State? As we ride across Rivers State, one of the things I am paying attention to is how infrastructure is connecting communities and creating opportunities. The newly constructed Elele–Omoku Road is a major transformation. What used to be a difficult journey through this corridor is now a much smoother experience, thanks to a 33.5km dual carriageway featuring a new bridge, streetlights, drainage infrastructure and other road facilities. But this is bigger than just a beautiful road. It connects communities, makes transportation easier, supports businesses, helps farmers move their produce and opens up more economic opportunities for people living in this part of Rivers State. I particularly love seeing infrastructure projects that go beyond the major cities and extend into communities that need them. Credit to the @riversstate_gov and @craneburgconstruction for delivering this project. Of course, the real measure of success is how well this infrastructure is maintained and how much it improves the lives of the people who use it.
