@nguyenanh.vietnam: ❤️Liu Yifei shared details about her dress at the global premiere of the film *Mulan*, which took place in Los Angeles on March 9, 2020.❤️ During a quick interview with international reporters (such as those from Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood) right on the red carpet, she explained the reason behind her choice of this glamorous outfit: • Design significance: Liu Yifei explained in English that when viewed from a distance - or by looking at the wide, sweeping train of the gown - one might discern the shape or motif of a phoenix ("Maybe you can feel some phoenix figure on it" / "It kind of looks like a phoenix in the tail"). • Connection to the film: She further explained that in Disney’s live-action *Mulan*, the phoenix serves as a highly significant symbolic element (replacing Mushu the dragon from the animated version). Consequently, incorporating the phoenix motif into her red-carpet gown allowed her to forge a profound connection with the spirit and themes of the film. • Warrior inspiration: In addition to the phoenix motif - deeply rooted in East Asian culture - the actress noted that the form-fitting bodice of the gown features a structured design, evoking the strength of a warrior’s armor. • Personal perspective: When asked about international pressure or high expectations, she shares a gentle philosophy: "Whenever people ask me about my goals as an actor, I always say: 'Don't limit yourself.' Mulan would tell you the same thing." #刘亦菲 #Crystalliu #LiuYifei
