We had a vegetarian wedding and one guy refused to eat AT ALL because there was no meat. Made sure to tell us he had a big steak beforehand (I didn't want to invite him)

Okay but hear me out - the specific example of salad beside pub-style meal…. That salad is TRASH. I can’t blame a guy for not eating it, cause I’m not eating it either. But if they give you a choice of salad or like… actual steamed veg, I’ll totally order and eat the veg.

I remember being on a first date with my guy, him picking up a piece of broccoli with his fork, and saying "which one is this?" 😭 I was horrified. I have since learned that his family survived on like burgers and pizza 😹 We have been together 12 years now and he loves all vegetables. He just needed some guidance lol

There’s a massive difference between shitty lettuce and vinaigrette and real vegetables. Purposely get mash and veg to avoid that lettuce it’s cheap crap
