He was meant to be suspicious. That’s why they even put his arrival at the house party right after we saw Tatum die, even though there’s a full hour time gap between and it wasn’t actually him, we, the audience see that, and think ‘hes the killer’ and then he just makes it worse when he goes upstairs and becomes even more suspicious, only to then be stabbed to death in front of us. That’s what they were trying to do here.

Crazy how many people miss that it was done on purpose that he’s obviously the killer lmao. But I can guarantee anyone that “knew” it was him from the jump also had some doubt when he was arrested and the phone call still came in and then were fully convinced he wasn’t the killer once he was “stabbed”. So you go from being sure he is the killer, doubting it, then full on believing he was innocent before revealing he actually is the killer. So as obvious as it is, Wes was still able to make you switch sides about 5 times yet still people don’t see how genius the writing and directing is.
