How old do they think you are?” I get told I look younger than my age pretty often, but the one that really makes me smile is, “I thought you were your daughter’s sister!” Listen, I’ll take the compliment! But I’m proud of my age, too. I’ve lived, learned, raised my children, and earned every year. Looking younger is a sweet compliment, but there’s something beautiful about being comfortable with the woman you’ve become. Some days I feel younger than my age. Other days, my knees remind me real quick! Either way, I’m grateful to be here, taking care of myself and enjoying this season of my life.
